Why is classical drama a poetic drama?

This problem can be discussed from the similarities and differences of the development of Wenzhou Southern Opera, Song-Jin Zhu Gong Opera, Yuanqu and Ming-Qing Legends. They are all the products of the secularization of lyric literature (poetic style). No matter the genre characteristics or the content characteristics of the script, the lyric characteristics have never disappeared. Contrary to western literature, China literature is from lyric to narrative, and the development of narrative literature is bound to be shrouded in the strong shadow of lyric literature. The poetic features of classical drama are very distinct.
