Luyuan (1922— 2009), formerly known as Liu Renfu, was once translated into Liu Banjiu, a native of Huangpi, Hubei. 1940s caused widespread concern in the poetry circle, and the early Poems as a Child was compiled into the textbook of Taiwan Province Province. Before and after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Luyuan's patriotic battle poems were widely circulated among progressive students and young readers, and became one of the important representatives of the "July Poetry School" in the later period.
1949, worked in Changjiang Daily and Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China. He lost his freedom for seven years because of the involvement of Hu Feng's case. He taught himself German in prison and transferred to People's Literature Publishing House after he was released from prison. 1980, Hu Feng's case was rehabilitated, and he resumed the identity of party member. Before retiring, he was the deputy editor-in-chief of People's Literature Publishing House.

Lv Yuan suffered a lot all his life. Before liberation, he was persecuted by Kuomintang authorities. He was wanted by the university and had to drop out of school and run away.
