The five chapters of the whole poem revolve around the same center and are sung repeatedly, but without repetition. "Rapids" have to cross "rugged roads" and layers of "rocks", which shows that our love life may have many difficulties and obstacles; The "barren forest" struggling with "bouts of strong winds" means the hardships and blows that will be suffered on the road of love; The "ruins" have been abandoned and are being "silently destroyed", which shows that the poet is willing to make all great sacrifices for love; The "grass house" at the bottom of the valley highlights the loneliness of the poet's situation; The floating "cloud" shows the inevitable life of the poet wandering around the world. All these show the unyielding will and loyal love of the lyric hero. At the same time, the poet's description of "lover" is equally intriguing: how free and lively the "small fish" in the waves are; The twittering "bird" is so naive and cheerful, sweet and lovely; Green "Ivy" is a kind of beauty that will never fade; The "flame" in the furnace, like the flame of love, is warm; As for the "coral-like sunset glow", it is not only gorgeous and beautiful, but also brings infinite light and "brilliance".
A set of metaphors and a set of contrasts outline the plump images of the hero and heroine: poetic, splashing ink, pursuing perfection and yearning for true love. It's beautiful. It's really shocking. No wonder Mr. Lu Xun wants to say that petofi's poems are wonderful. As for someone who fought all his life on the basis of the petofi Revolution, it is far-fetched to understand this poem as a political lyric poem (such as the third volume of junior middle school teachers' Chinese), which is even more contrary to petofi's original intention of writing this poem.
Although the love poems written by petofi in his later period are more and more shining with the brilliance of revolutionary spirit, they have become a model of the perfect combination of love and revolution, such as1the famous poem Freedom and Love written in June, 847: "Life is precious, but the price of love is higher. If you are free, you can throw both. " And so on. However, because poets create folk songs, their poetic images are generally clear, and poets are used to touching people with their true feelings. This is also in line with his aesthetic point of view: "I am a person who can sacrifice for' truth' or even' beauty'." It can be seen that in petofi's poetic concept, the first element of "truth" is that even a little falsehood and affectation cannot be tolerated.
From this point of view, it is not difficult to find that "I would like to be a torrent" is the poet himself, and "My Love" is Julia maesa, which is undoubtedly a pure love poem. If you have to interpret political lyrics, it is not difficult to understand the "I" here, either the poet himself or a revolutionary colleague. And "my love"? It should be the Hungarian national liberation cause for which the poet and his comrades fought bloody battles, and it is the revolutionary ideal that the poet is determined to pursue. But wait a minute, there is a problem here, that is, the size of the image is misplaced. So lofty, so great, the Hungarian national liberation cause (revolutionary ideal) that the poet is willing to devote himself to has become a "small fish" in the "waves", a bird in the "branches", "ruins: a slender" ivy "in the world ... It seems strange and unacceptable, and I think even petofi himself would not think so. What's more, this poem was written in early June, 1847. At that time, the relationship between the poet and Julia maesa had changed for the better, and three months later, they got married. So, this is a love poem. Petofi, a poet, mobilized the cells of his whole body's love, lit the flame of passion and true love, and released the oath of love, which was earth-shattering and sincere.
