I am a cloud in the sky,

Occasionally projected into your heart—

You shouldn't be surprised,

There's no need to be happy-

It disappeared in an instant.

You and I met in the dark sea,

You have yours, I have mine, direction;

You remember it well,

You'd better forget,

The light that shines on each other at this intersection!

(Written in May of 1926, it was first published in the 9th issue of Poetry Engraving of Morning Post Supplement on May 27th of the same year, and signed by Zhimo.

In the first paragraph, I mean the cloud, symbolizing my uncertainty, and you mean the wave, symbolizing your deep affection.

In the second paragraph, I mean two ships meeting at sea in the dark, which symbolizes that you and I choose different directions and only make mistakes.
