Frontier Poetry School is a school of poetry in Tang Dynasty in China.
Frontier Poetry School is a school of poetry in Tang Dynasty in China. There were some frontier poems in the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, and the number increased continuously in the Sui Dynasty. In the early Tang Dynasty, Four Masters and Chen Ziang further developed them, and they were fully mature in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Gao Shi, Cen Can, Li Jie and Wang Changling are the most famous poets of this school, while Gao and Cen have the highest achievements, so they are also called Gao Cen School of Poetry.
Most of these poets have frontier fortress life experience. They deeply express frontier fortress life from all aspects and make innovations in art.. They not only described the magnificent desolate and colorful frontier scenery, but also expressed their lofty sentiments and feelings.
The representative figures of the Frontier Poetry School:
1. Gao Shi: Zi Dafu, Bohai County, Cangzhou (now Jingxian County, Hebei Province). During the Tang Dynasty, ministers, frontier poets and Anton all protected Gao Kan's grandson.
2. Cen Can: A native of Jiangling, Jingzhou (now jiangling county, Hubei), was a poet in the Tang Dynasty, and was also called "Gao Cen" with Gao Shi.
3. Wang Changling: Zi Shaobo, a minister in the Tang Dynasty, was a famous frontier poet. In the 15th year of Kaiyuan (727), he was a scholar, awarded a school book lang, and moved to Sishui County. Take the exam of erudition and macro-speech, and sit in exile in Lingnan. At the end of Kaiyuan, he returned to Chang 'an and was awarded Jiangning County Cheng. During the Anshi Rebellion, he was killed by Qiu Xiao, the secretariat of Bozhou.
4. Li Qi: A native of Yingyang, Henan Province (now Dengfeng City, Henan Province), was a poet in the Tang Dynasty. In the twenty-third year of Kaiyuan, he was a scholar, and once served as a county commandant in Xinxiang. Later, he resigned and retired to work in Dongchuan, Yingyang.
5. Wang Zhihuan: Ji Ling, a native of Jinyang (now Taiyuan, Shanxi), was a poet in the Tang Dynasty. Wang Zhihuan was smart at an early age, but weak in writing. Generosity has a general idea, and it is charming and talented. He entered the official position with the shadow of the door, awarded Hengshui the master book, and married the third daughter of Li Di, the magistrate of Hengshui County. Later, he was slandered and dismissed from office.
