1, Xu Fu: Also known as Xu and Xu Fu, China was a famous alchemist in the Qin Dynasty, born in (the coastal area of Shandong today, some documents think it is Ganyu or Langya in Jiangsu). Xu Fu is famous for his mastery of medicine, astronomy and navigation. Entrusted by Qin Shihuang, he led a fleet carrying thousands of boys, girls and craftsmen to find the legendary overseas elixir, that is, the elixir of life. Legend has it that Xu Fu's fleet arrived in today's Japanese archipelago, leaving many relics and legends in various parts of Japan, which had a far-reaching impact on Sino-Japanese cultural exchanges.

2. Zhong Limei: an important general in the hegemony between Chu and Han in the late Qin Dynasty and early Han Dynasty, one of the five generals under Chu overlord Xiang Yu, a native of Hanqu County (now Lu Yi Township, Guanyun County, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province), had close contacts with Han Xin. In the Chu-Han War, Zhong Limei was famous for his bravery and good fighting skills. Later, due to the defeat of Xiang Yu, his fate was unknown. It is recorded that he committed suicide after the Chu-Han War.

3. Bao Zhao: Ming Yuan, a famous writer in the Southern Song Dynasty, was born in the East China Sea (located in the southwest of Tancheng County, Shandong Province, including Lianshui County, Jiangsu Province) and lived in Jiankang (now Nanjing) for a long time. Bao Zhao, with his outstanding poetic talent, is known as the "Three Masters of Yuanjia" together with Yan Yanzhi and Xie Lingyun. Bao Zhao's poetic language is bold and sincere, especially Yuefu poems, which have a far-reaching influence on later literature.
