College English: Listening and Speaking 5 (A Book for Students) (Third Edition) is a teacher's book for the sixth volume of the listening and speaking course. This book has ten units and ten themes. After ten units, two sets of comprehensive test questions are provided. Each unit consists of five parts: Part A, Part B, Part C, Part D and Part E: Part A Listening Training: This part provides two exercises to help students acquire important communication skills, and 2) master a variety of listening skills. Part B Oral Activities Oral Training: This part of oral activities mainly focuses on the text content and various communicative functions. The form of practice is from shallow to deep, which is helpful to inspire students to speak. Every two classes provide communicative functions and common language expressions related to the theme of the text, so that students can learn how to conduct daily conversations properly through practice. Part C Listen and relax listening appreciation: This part includes songs, poems, humor, jokes, riddles, tongue twisters, proverbs and famous sayings. It aims to cultivate students' sense of language and improve their interest in learning in a relaxed language environment for three to five minutes. Part d further listening training: the form is two listening materials and exercises. The exercises are in various forms, aiming at improving students' understanding and adaptability. Part E: Extracurricular listening training for family listening: provide two listening materials and exercises with the same topic as the text for students to learn by themselves after class.
