Diaosi prevailed in the northwest Sichuan Plateau during the Qin and Han Dynasties more than 2,000 years ago, and its formation scale was during the Sui and Tang Dynasties and the Qing Dynasty when Qianlong conquered Jinchuan and Jinchuan. Originally used for rain protection, livestock raising, storage and life, it later developed into four categories: Tusi Guanzhai Carving Village, Festival Carving Village, Feng Shui Carving Village and Zhan Carving Village. Among them, there are the most war bunkers, which are divided into early warning bunkers, ear bunkers and main bunkers. Most of them are built in traffic arteries, mountain passes, river intersections or open areas. In wartime, warning orders were issued by burning wolf smoke, firing guns, waving flags and whistling.
In Songgang Township, Marcand, nearly 30 meters high straight wave watchtowers (two) and Songgang Guanzhai watchtower form a good scenery. Winding rivers and highways crawl under their feet. The relatively open terrain makes the watchtower look particularly magnificent.
Zhibo Diaolou, known as the essence of flaky architecture, was listed in the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units in July 20001. The two towers are located in the north and south of the mountain, more than 50 meters apart. It faces Mosuo River in the south, Mozugou in the west and Songgang Guanzhai across the river. The straight wave watchtower is octagonal outside and round inside. The South Tower is 29 meters high with seven floors, and the North Tower is 24.7 meters high with six floors. The two towers are angular and the walls are flat. According to research, Zhibo Carved Sword was built in the middle of Qing Dynasty, and it is still strong.
