Taoyedu is one of the ancient scenic spots in Nanjing and one of the 48 scenic spots in Jinling. Zhang Tongzhi, a man from the Qing Dynasty, wrote in the scenes of "Forty-eight Scenes in Jinling" and "Peach Leaves Crossing the River": "Peach roots and peach leaves are all concubines, but the name of this crossing is only peach leaves, and both of them are biased. No wonder it is Hou." This poem tells that Ye Tao and Taogen were both concubines of Wang Xianzhi, a great calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. This ancient ferry is named after Wang Xianzhi, who once received my concubine Ye Tao here. Wang Xianzhi once wrote "Peach Leaf Song", saying: "Peach leaves are peach leaves, so it is not necessary to cross the river; But there is nothing to cross, I will meet you myself. " Since then, the ferry has become famous. This poem, contained in The Pursuit of Ancient and Modern Music, is quite intimate and elegant. It is the rhyme of five tones in Yuefu, and it was still a "song" in the Southern Dynasties. "Peach Leaf Song" has been preserved in the music of Ming Yue, and this song is still in the music of Ming and Qing Dynasties in Japan. "Peach leaves crossing the river" has become a romantic story that won eternal victory and spread for a long time.
