Let's go for a night outing in autumn.
わびしきぃにひとりなやむ
せぅつにもやぶれ
Stay away from the other side.
Love your parents (しやふるさとなつかし).
I don't think this is a good idea. I don't think this is a good idea.
せぅつにもやぶれ
Don't go away from the other side.
Late autumn night, travel the sky.
Lonely memories, a person sad.
Nostalgic hometown, kind parents.
Walking in a dream, the way back to my hometown
Late autumn night, travel the sky.
Lonely memories, a person sad.

The wind and rain knock on the window, and the dream is broken.
They are far away and their hearts are lost.
Nostalgic hometown, kind parents.
Thoughts come in and the treetops move.
The wind and rain knock on the window, and the dream is broken.
Far away, they are lost.
This song was originally written by Americans, copied by Japanese and copied by China. Its melody is "Dream of Home and Mother" written by American Odaway. Introduced to Japan in the early 20th century, a poem written by Ningen called "The Sorrow of Travel" became the representative work of Japanese school songs and was widely sung. China's famous educator, musician and dramatist in modern times, Mr. Li Shutong (Master Hongyi), became familiar with this song while studying in Japan (1905- 19 10), wrote a lyric in Chinese, and introduced it to China.
This song is not well-known in her hometown, the United States, and even gradually forgotten, but it shines brilliantly and is widely sung in her second hometown and even her third hometown, Japan and China. I think it has something to do with her melody-it's very oriental and contains a touch of sadness. Therefore, it is not surprising that this song was misunderstood as written by China or Japanese.
