What is the relationship between Mei and Xue?
Xue Mei refused to give up in the spring, and the poet's pavilion criticized Zhang Mei, but the snow was white, but the plum blossoms were as white as snow. Ancient China literati often used Mei Xue at the same time, and there were endless arguments about its advantages and disadvantages. In this poem, the author fairly judges their respective advantages and disadvantages from different angles, and draws a thought-provoking philosophy from the evaluation. Three or four sentences are the essence of poetry, and the philosophy contained in them is also intriguing. They are all symbols of spring and an organic part of spring images. The reason why it is difficult for predecessors to draw the advantages and disadvantages is that it is easy to find their own shortcomings from the same aesthetic point of view and different perspectives. As far as color is concerned, plum blossom is not as pure and white as snow, but as far as smell is concerned, snow is not as fragrant as plum blossom, and it is good at winning competitions from different angles. The philosophy of this poem is that everything has its advantages and disadvantages.
