The strange place name surprised the little anchor

Our Xing'an League has many strange names. The little anchor pointed to this place name carved out of tree roots: Niu Dung (Fen) Terrace.

In fact, as a local, I am used to it, but most of the time I don’t delve into the meaning, because many names are not the original meaning at all, but evolved from Mongolian transliterations, such as Aershan according to Mongolian The word means hot holy spring and has nothing to do with mountains at all. Another example is Ulanhot, which means red city in Mongolian.

For a while I saw some signs at the head of some villages saying xxx Gacha. I was surprised for a while. Later, after much investigation, I found out that Gacha is a transliteration of Mongolian, which means village. .

I also saw an article in a previous journal that specifically discussed the issue of "Ublin" and "Beblin".

For example, when some people open a hotpot restaurant, they write it as Bebulin hotpot restaurant, while others write it as Ublin. Both names are popular in one place. Which one is orthodox?

The author has argued from many aspects and believes that Ublin should be more orthodox. The word "Wu" is the same as the color (red) favored by the Mongolian people. It belongs to the list of beautiful articles. For example, Ulanhot and Ulan Maodu in the Xing'an League are both loved by the Mongolian people.

The literal interpretation of "Don't" means don't want it, and it means something else. If you choose to use bebulin, how should you explain it?

Moreover, in the "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Place Names·Xing'an League Volume" edited and published by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Place Names Committee in July 1989, the word "Ubulin" clearly says Ubulin, not Bebulin . This is legally effective.

In short, do not do whatever you want with some place names and change them at will according to your own preferences. Especially some plaques that involve place names must be carefully researched to avoid causing trouble and misleading to others.
