In what two periods did poetry evolve from the Four Tang Dynasties?

The poetry of the early Tang Dynasty was the preparatory stage for the prosperity of poetry in the Tang Dynasty. The early Tang Dynasty roughly refers to the Xiantian period from the early Tang Dynasty to Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (618-712). Poetry in the early Tang Dynasty was greatly influenced by the poetry style of Qi and Liang Dynasties in the Southern Dynasties. During the Zhenguan period, the court poets Yu Shinan, Li Baiyao, etc. who gathered around Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, their creations became increasingly court-like and aristocratic. The "Shangguan style" represented by Shangguan Yi became a model for the creation of court poets at that time. Although poetry in the early and late Tang Dynasty did not completely get rid of the influence of Qi and Liang poetry styles, it showed a new turning point. The creations of the "Four Heroes" created a new style of poetry that was different from that of the court poets, and underwent key changes in content, subject matter, aesthetic pursuit and style. Although the "Four Friends of Articles" and "Shen Song" were also court poets, they contributed to the shaping and maturity of rhythmic poetry. Chen Zi'ang was an important figure in changing the poetry style of the Tang Dynasty in theory and practice. He opposed the poetry style of Qi and Liang Dynasties, advocated the restoration of the style and elegance of the Han and Wei Dynasties, and practiced this idea. All in all, the poetry of the early Tang Dynasty shows the characteristics of transition and innovation.
