Yang Juyuan, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. The courtesy name was Jingshan, and later it was renamed Juji. A native of Hezhong (the current place of governance is Yongji, Shanxi). In the fifth year of Zhenyuan (789), he became a Jinshi. He first worked for Zhang Hongjing, who was promoted to Dr. Taichang by his secretary Lang, and then moved to Yu Ministry Yuan Wai Lang. He was promoted to Fengxiang Shaoyin, and was summoned again to be awarded the title of "Guozi Si". In the fourth year of Changqing's reign (824), he resigned and retired. When he was in power, he asked him to be Shaoyin from Hezhong, and he would live with his salary for the rest of his life.

As for Yang Juyuan's birth year, it is based on Fang Songqing's "Han Ji Juzheng". Han Yu's "Preface to Farewell to Yang Shaoyin" was written in the fourth year of Changqing (824). The preface mentions that Yang You "turned seventy" and "went back to his hometown". It can be inferred from this that Yang Dang was born in 755 and his death year is unknown.
