Two thoughts on reading is a set of poems by Zhu, a Neo-Confucianism scholar in Song Dynasty. These two poems describe the author's mood of "reading" and reveal profound philosophy with vivid images. The first poem takes scenery as a metaphor, and with the help of the phenomenon of injecting fresh water into the pond, it means that we must constantly accept new things in order to keep our thoughts active and progressive; In the second poem, the reason is that no one can push the boat but can sail freely in the water, which means that artistic creation needs inspiration. The whole poem contains philosophy with vivid metaphors and is full of rational interest, which has been told all the time.
