I sat on the ground,
Looking at the earth,
Looking at the grass,
Look at these midges,
Look at those light blue flowers.
Dear, you are like the earth in spring,
I look at you.
I was lying on the ground,
Staring at the sky,
Staring at the branches,
Staring at the flying crane,
You are like the sky in spring, dear,
I stare at you.
At night, light a bonfire in the field,
Touch the flame,
Touch the stream,
Touch the sweater,
Touching the silver necklace,
You are like a bonfire, burning.
Under the starry sky,
Dear,
I touch you.
I am with people.
I love people,
Love sports,
The idea of love,
Love my struggle,
You are my partner in the struggle, dear,
I love you.

Hikmet has a lovely wife. They are life partners and revolutionary comrades. The poet wrote many love poems for his wife all his life, expressing their beautiful and rich emotional world, such as Autumn: "My open door is waiting for you/Why did you come so late/The sweet fruit is heavy and full of wisdom/Still hanging on the branches, still shining red. /If you are a little later,/they will fall to the ground … "Fruit is a metaphor of the heart, sincere and novel; A lullaby: "Go to sleep,/My beauty, go to sleep quickly,/I brought your dream from the sea,/A slight broad wind,/A cool and boundless wind,/Blow the white sail into an bow, and go to sleep." One sigh and three sighs, graceful and low; "Letter from Prison" poem: "Blood seems to gush from blood vessels,/autumn wind blows the window tightly. ..... and your head, because of meditation,/hangs on the tortured hand ... your fate, the fate of the whole Turkey. " Expressed an unforgettable yearning for his wife and motherland.
I Sit on the Earth is also a love poem. By describing a tryst in the countryside in spring, the lyrical hero's warm and lofty love for his lover is shown. Poems with the title of the first sentence are often used in Chekhov, similar to the first two words of China's ancient untitled love poems. The whole poem consists of four sections and is very well written. Section 1 The poet sat on the grass and peeped at his lover. Maybe this is his first love. The poet was embarrassed to look directly at her, but gradually shifted his eyes from distant land to nearby grasslands, midges and orchids, and moved to his lover. Midge is a kind of brown or black insect, which is dotted among flowers and plants. But when used in poetry, it does not conform to the appreciation habits of China readers; If it was written by a poet in China, it might turn into a butterfly or something. In the second quarter, the poet and his lover changed their postures. The poet lies down and the lover sits. The poet looked up at the blue sky, green trees and snow-white cranes, and finally moved with the crane shadow to look at his lover. At this time, the poet's eyes are no longer shy "gaze", but bold "gaze". When lovers are together, time always flies. When we looked at each other, we didn't realize that night was coming and the sky was full of stars. In the third season, they are no longer limited to flirting, but snuggle together.
In these three paragraphs, lovers are compared to the earth, the sky and the bonfire respectively. Metaphor seems casual and handy, but in fact it is ingenious and quite clever: taking the spring earth as a metaphor, we can see that she is full of vigor, youth, moving, loyal and reliable, and you can't help but agree with her heart; Taking the spring sky as a metaphor, we can see that she is cheerful, frank, transparent and selfless, and can treat each other with sincerity; Taking the bonfire at night as a metaphor, we can see that she is enthusiastic, persistent and self-reliant, and can be called a comrade and a comrade-in-arms. This fully paves the way for the sublimation of the fourth verse in the poem-"You are my partner in the struggle, dear/I love you".
