The first time I saw Cheng Xiao, it was on the Tuesday night of the fourth day of October in Ding You's year. On the "Du Du Wu Fish Slice Hot Pot" in Qionglai, poetry friends had a dinner, and bronze scholars paid the bill. I made a special trip from Ranyi to complete the "screen", and Hu Renze entrusted me to receive Ba Shi with the "zero degree" tiller.

Friends of poetry, except tea and wine, are poetry.

As a direct result of that meeting, my poem "Ode to Joy" was displayed in the column "Sichuan Climate in Zero Vision" in the 4th issue of Zero Poetry magazine. Zhan Yijun is the editorial board of Zero Degree, and it is very easy to pass his manuscript.

At the same time, Zhan Yijun is the editor in charge of the collection of elegant silk roads, so he naturally wants to contact them and let them go to Qionglai to participate in poetry activities.

We meet more often. The friendship between poets and friends extends to mountains and rivers.

The last time was in March this year. The Rape Flower Poetry Society and Li Hualing were two consecutive poetry activities. In the rendering of Flying Flowers Order, clinking glasses became a festival. ...

It's almost July.

The next day, I posted a short poem "I have an appointment with you" in the group of "Mountains and rivers to collect wind", boasting that "I learned from young poets and recently wrote short poems", but I didn't expect to have a smile on my face.

Cheng Xiao: I always write short poems, but I'm too old.

On the third day of July, I saw this sketch of Cheng Xiao in the circle of friends, with the label "Memo 84" and the post content "Time is over".

I guess, if you want to read all the sketches printed in his memo, I'm afraid you'll have to wait "half time" to have hope.

I can't wait.

Two gouache paintings were posted together with 84 "sketches" of the memo.

A still life: a chair, a basin, or a cylinder, but none of them are accurate, just approximate.

The picture of a person with a brocade or a canvas and a desk lamp is rich in color, which can reflect champagne, Van Gogh and so on.

What I see seems to be two "poetic faces" of Cheng Xiao.

The punchline process is rigorous, and it is not only pure but also harsh on art. His Eighty-four is skillfully interspersed with modern poetic techniques such as imagery, synaesthesia, symbol and hint. Just like these two paintings, you have to work hard to understand their meaning.

I know his heart is complex and profound.

On the fifth day of the fourth day of June, 2006, the Silk Road Collection Fair "Flowers of Mountain Flowing Water" was held in Chengdu, far away from Jiashan Road, and I was moved by his participation.

He is a deep-rooted poet in this activity, and he has traveled through mountains and rivers tirelessly. He also undertook the editing work of the manuscript of Elegant Collection of Silk Road, which is the honor of Lin Qiong poets. There are eight people on the editorial board of Silk Road Elegance Collection. He is the only non-Qionglai person, especially invited.

In fact, among the seven volumes of Silk Road Elegant Collection that have been published, the inaugural issue and other volumes were designed and printed by him. For this, I am particularly grateful to him, so I specially sent him a bottle of good wine at the "Furong Jinjiang Rape Poetry Club" to show my gratitude.

He paid attention to the post-80s poet Wang X and told her that if you have a good poem, go to him. He also sent her several volumes of Zero Degree Poetry Journal edited by him. This point, Lin Qiong's poetry group is a feeling to remember.

I have read Cheng Xiao's poems in my circle of friends. Two pictures, one concrete and one abstract. This image is a hand composed of a light bulb and a spiral symbol. What is abstraction? Through imagination, I imagine it as rain falling on the glass.

"The weight of rain" has changed from abstraction to liquid concreteness, and I read the poet's worries about "cactus planted secretly". "Impulse", "seeking" and "trying" all have the content of "stopping". After all, beyond poetry, "appeasement" and "lightning" are contradictory counterparts, and "escape" has no choice. Both are firmly locked by the poet, and footnotes are used by him. I read that I suspect that I have quietly contracted this timidity.

Laughter is mainly about writing short poems.

As for me, I call all the poems in a few lines short poems. Cheng Xiao's memo contains many small poems.

This poem is not small. Well, when I read Window by Ji Xian, Meteor by Ya Xian, Birthday by Zhu Ling, Life by Huang Guangqing and Short Chapter by Wen Xiaocun, I deeply understood this point.

Poetry often contains great capacity. For example, Ji Xian's "Window" is concise in topic selection, focused on materials, and comprehensive in everything; For example, Yaxian's Meteor comes from extraordinary imagination; For example, Wen Xiaocun's four-line short chapter combines flowers and birds to perfection, and so on. Excellent short poems have inherent advantages in both technique and connotation, and are more difficult to write than long poems.

This poem is accompanied by two pictures, both of which are real scenes. City night.

Buildings crowded into the sky, and they occupied the night in the city. They are all tall and majestic, overlooking the smallest land in the world, commanding, as if they were extraordinary masters of this world.

It is they who make the earth suffer from a terminal illness at night, lingering psoriasis, and let tinea versicolor flood on the earth mother. How many men and women in the world love to live among them? Come on!

At nine o'clock, at midnight, in the country, I was reading Cheng Xiao's "Memo". I didn't hear crying either, but it was raining outside the window.

Different from the city with lights at night, the lights here are like beans. I often feel a lot about this situation, and I vaguely hear the cry of the land in my short poem "Fantasy of Food".

Mr. Cheng Xiao's feelings are high-end and deep on another level. The poem is not small, and I learned it again deeply.

Memorandum 92: Suffering from periodic migraine/causing hemiplegia for three days/taking folk prescription for four days/can you save many love stories?

Attached are 2 pictures. One is "grasping the back of the head with the left hand and emitting a light similar to sunspots", the other is a leisurely white cat, and the other is a golden star that appears in its meditation.

The poet wrote down his physical discomfort and gave it to word therapy, which had a good effect. In particular, "Restoring a lot of love stories" makes people feel much more relaxed after reading it.

This kind of "word therapy" should be Mr Cheng Xiao's specialty. It turns the poet from crazy light into a comfortable static cat, and also allows the poet to win peace by approaching bloody actions.

Memorandum 104: when people are noisy, I want to cut off my ears/leaves. If I don't give up, I blame a gust of wind/the cold tonight, which makes me sneeze out of the window/wake up the moonlight. A shadow covered the body without saying a word.

Oh, the magic moonlight! The levity imposed on the poet by the outside world finally succumbed to the emptiness born in peace. ...

This leads to the root of the memorandum: the ethereal spirit from the poet himself is a panacea for the poet to solve various objective interference problems.

The secret and magic of writing poetry lies in this: taking the needs of one's own mind as the criterion, based on spiritual activities, being in contact with the existence of various complex appearances from the outside world, and having all kinds of observations, judgments, speculations, tastes and feelings that only belong to the poet, all of which can be recorded endlessly or endlessly in poetic language.

Memo 96: The intermittent rain, mixed with the late-returning/leaning street trees, was frightened by the zebra crossing/was in an irregular mood. Can it come and go/be noticed by this city?

Cheng Xiao's sensitivity to urban phenomena comes not from excitement, but from silence. Contrary to active young poets, the richness of his poems is won by quietness.

Memo 108: It's really empty. I don't want to hold anything/the cup can't hold boiling water, the ashtray can't hold the breath between my lower lips, and only the night can hold the silent neon of the city.

He gained far-reaching in silence, including all kinds of objects in front of him and in the distance, which he owned. The disappearance of tea and the passage of smoke can't compete with the flickering light and shadow outside the window.

His subtle experience of "City Night" hides a powerful and pervasive poet spirit.

I believe that everyone's feelings after reading this poem are definitely different. Who should have the most say?

It happened that I was very depressed recently, and many words were transferred to "private blog posts" by the website, which clearly stated that "only I read them", which was equivalent to no one reading them. After reading this "Memorandum" of 102, I have a new understanding of the Internet.

Memo 105: August is coming, and I really want to change a cot/to offset my engagement with sweat and asthma. Let the person who can only hug all his life/take care of himself under the bed.

This poem prepares me to bid farewell to the memorandum behind Mr. Cheng Xiao. He is terrible, because he has boundless emotional intelligence, and I happen to be too lazy to feel sad. Well, "self-pity" is a big digression, and I'm going to end it.

X recently fell in love with Death of a Stone Chamber and read Z's Short Poem thoroughly. She also wrote dozens of "short poems" in succession.

So, in July, I had several conversations with her about "short poems". Excerpts are as follows-

Y: On the basis of the original 12, I wrote 20 more songs. I'm going to stop writing 36 songs so that I can print a "hand-held collection". The poems written recently are very short.

Have you read what I wrote recently? Every day. I am forming a habit. Is there anything you like or something that makes you feel bad? Now there are 20 little jokes.

Y: I'll put it away first. These are different from reading a work. I haven't mastered my own "Broken Night" and wrote more than twenty new songs. ...

Every poem has a time stamp. I, Xi Yongjun, Zhuang Yibin and Cheng Xiao all have the habit of observing time and place. This habit, in my opinion, is also an indispensable part of poetry. I have always insisted on it and never stopped. It's up to you whether to keep the time and place of writing poetry.

I exchanged "short poems" with X, and I expressed my opinion.

X is active and can get inspiration from pictures. The work has "the vividness and vitality of poetic language", just like Z, "so it is not tiring to read. Because they have a bright future. " "You are lively, dynamic, full of interest and ceaseless, radiant and belong to the scenery."

Z and X, they express, publicize, reveal, ripple and show.

"Cheng Xiao's poems are mature and dignified, and there is more wisdom in them." The mountains are heavy and the waters are heavy, but there is no road to doubt, and there is another village, which belongs to the classic quoted poem. It is crystallization, cohesion and introversion. Reading them, sometimes I feel sleepy.

Experience and experience must be acknowledged. For poets of different times, individuality is the gene of poetry, and sex is the premise of artistic communication. In the face of "short poems", Cheng Xiao, Z and X are obviously alone in their respective fields of poetry.

The difficulty stems from the age gap. But it does not affect the mutual reflection of their works.

("Is it really nothing to do with poetry?" Suddenly I feel that in another world, many poets who have been delayed for 20 years are on fire with me.

Cheng Xiao and I were born in July. In fact, we have been delaying, mainly because we didn't learn much when we were young students.

Cheng Xiao's original intention was for me to write some words for him after his Sketch was published. Well, at least until the end of the year.

But I can't wait to get there first. I am also very busy in July.

His memorandum continues. I have only read a few of his memos, and I feel that he is creating a miracle of poetry and taking his own path, just like he founded Zero Poetry magazine, which is unique and belongs to him.

Memo is a milestone of China's contemporary short poems. Cheng Xiao navigates the zero degree, and also navigates his own classical poetry road, integrating external pictures, landscapes, objects, images, people and things with his own feelings, and connecting art and art through highly refined poetic language. He walked through the poetic world, like a god, went deep into everything and turned everything into poetry.

Today is almost the end of July. It is raining outside. It's raining hard. So yesterday, when I came back from the foot of Tiantai Mountain and waded across the Ba Huang Bridge, I didn't notice that the screw might be loose, and the sign "Chuan A" hanging in front of the car was washed away.

Depressed for an instant, continue to write a smile.

Cheng Xiao's memo will be a beautiful "hand-held collection". He helped us design the Silk Road series, which was very good. I believe that his memorandum will fill the gap in China's contemporary classic poems. It will be a short collection of poems with strong artistic flavor, which embodies the high-end products, fine products, fine products and pure products of an intellectual poet.
