Everyday 20 19 nomination exhibition
The "Young Artists Project of Zhuzhong Art Museum (20 1 1-2021)-Day by Day" started on 2011,and the planned time was 10. It is a brand exhibition created by Zhuzhong Art Museum for outstanding young artists. The exhibition is held once a year and always focuses on young artists with characteristics of the times and innovative spirit. This project is presided over by Peng Feng, president and curator of Peking University Art Institute, and invites different famous artists and critics at home and abroad to form a nomination committee every year.
20 19 nomination exhibition was nominated and screened by a "young curator group" composed of four nominees, Sui Jianguo, Peng Feng and Shao Yiyang, and Alia Lin.
Peng Feng recommended: Liu Chengrui.
Liu Chengrui's "self-punishment" performance art is very unique among young artists. The individual experience and spiritual dimension presented in his works reflect the collective will of the younger generation of artists.

Pagan is Liu Chengrui's performance in 17. He completed seven movements in seven days, and the colors of spherical props used in each movement were red, orange, yellow, green, black, blue and purple.
Performance content:
Day 1 [red]: It starts at noon. When the water is calm, smash the red ball into the water, and then stabilize the ball on the water ... until sunset.
The next day [Orange]: Starting at noon, I pushed the orange ball and ran in the green water … until sunset.
Day 3 [Yellow]: From noon, the body slowly sinks with the ball, and then quickly floats ... until sunset.
Day 4 [Green]: From noon, both hands push the ball around the water, and punish both hands with the iron wall of hammering water … until sunset.
Day 5 [dark]: Starting at noon, I committed suicide in the water after beating the black ball, and stood behind the wall after attempting suicide ... until sunset.
Day 6 [Blue]: Start at noon, or look at the sphere, or look at the water, or close your eyes ... until sunset.
Day 7 [purple]: It starts at noon. When the water is calm, smash the red ball into the water, and then stabilize the ball on the water ... until sunset.
The seventh day is the same as the first day, showing the cycle without stopping.

Liu Chengrui finished the story in 65,438+02 days. 12 days later, he took off the hook. He wore a red shirt and a blue dress to organize stone files at the exhibition site until the end of the exhibition.

Liu Chengrui, born in Qinghai, 1983, now lives in Beijing. Works of art involve behavior scenes, continuous behaviors, images, words and so on. Behavior scene emphasizes the ultimate repetitive experience of the body in a specific time and space; Continuous behavior explores the relationship between people established by art, and shapes each other's life picture and social personality on the basis of maintaining identity and cultural equality with different collaborators. Most of these works continued the artist's life. The image is dominated by wilderness, showing the absurdity and poetry of human beings in a surreal atmosphere; Mainly poetry, oral writing is preferred.
