The structure of classical poetry

There is no fixed law in writing, and the law is established in writing; There is no fixed body, but there must be one. These four sentences show that creation should not have a fixed frame that binds people's hands and feet; But it is not completely without "rules" to follow, and there are still some in general. It's just that the poem is still elegant, but sometimes it is more eclectic.

Although the structure of poetry is not clearly defined, there is also a kind of composition, which is what Fan Wei said in Yuan Dynasty. "Up" is the beginning; "Bearing" means bearing; "Turn" is a turning point; "Close" means close. For example, quatrains, the first sentence is "Qi", the second sentence is "Cheng", the third sentence is "Zhuan" and the fourth sentence is "He".

Five-character quatrains, such as "Crossing the Han River" by Song Dynasty, are a homecoming poem, saying:

The sound outside the ridge is broken,

After winter comes spring.

Now, near my village, meet people,

I dare not ask a question.

Seven-character quatrains, such as "Spring River" by Liu Yuxi, wrote in the poem:

New cosmetics should be on the balcony,

Deep lock spring scenery, worry about a hospital.

Go to the atrium and count the flowers.

Dragonflies fly around scratching their heads.

Rhyme, every eight sentences, two, four, six, eight sentences, must rhyme; Three or four sentences, five or six sentences should be dual. There are rules for the plainness of words. Five words in each sentence are called five laws and seven words are called seven laws. The first sentence and the second sentence (continuous reading) are "from"; Three or four sentences (links) are "bearing"; Five or six sentences (neckline) are "turn"; Seven or eight sentences (knots) are "combination".

Five laws, such as "Send Li Duan" by Liu Lun, is a poem about leaving friends at will, which reads:

By my old door, in the yellow grass,

We are still lingering and disgusted.

You have to go through the cold clouds,

Will take you into the snow tonight.

Your father died; You left home when you were very young,

No one knows about your misfortune.

Hide your tears and become empty,

When is the dust?

Seven laws, such as Huang Furan's "Spring Thoughts", the poem says:

Birds and swallows tell the New Year,

But so far it's Mazhen and Longzhong.

From our house, from these walls and the Han garden,

The moon brought my heart to the Tatar sky.

I weave endless sad words in the frame,

However, this petal branch is smiling in my lonely sleep now.

In order to invite Yuan to take a bus,

When will you turn your back on me?

The composition of the transition is not a fixed formula, and some poems don't follow this composition, such as Wen Tianxiang's poem Crossing the Zero Ding Yang.
