What inspired Tao Yuanming's attitude towards life in Peach Blossom Garden?

Peach Blossom Garden is another world different from the real world. It is a free and idealized world.

Weng Tao's ideal world of Taoyuan was born in 42 1 year, that is, 16 years (405) after he resigned from the county magistrate. This scene in the Peach Blossom Garden may be a portrayal of Tao Yuanming's seclusion. In fact, the Peach Blossom Garden was a "refuge" for people to escape from the real society at that time.

The poet described it as a free and idealized kingdom, forming an ideal paradise that coexists with the real society and opposes the world. It cannot be said that this is a great pioneering work of Tao Yuanming, and the poet depicts the embryonic form of an ideal human society.

It is somewhat similar to The Republic written by British writer Moore (Moore's The Golden Book on the Perfect State System and the New Island of the Republic was written during his trip to Europe15151516), but it was more than a thousand years earlier than The Republic.

Compared with the writer's age, Tao Yuanming is the grandfather of Moore's grandfather, so it can be said that Tao Yuanming is the originator of the ideal kingdom of mankind. Xanadu has been circulated for 1580 years, and it still makes many people yearn for it.

This kind of artistic effect and social function is beyond Weng Tao's dream when he was writing (the social function of literature often goes far beyond the writer's creative intention at that time), and its value goes far beyond literature itself! What does this mean? After repeated thinking, I have three insights:

First, human nature is yearning for equality and freedom and pursuing a harmonious and happy life. This may be the true meaning of life! Humans move from the realm of necessity to the realm of freedom.

Second, as long as there are selfish desires in human society, there will always be exploitation, oppression, aggression, power struggle, intrigue and so on, which are contrary to human nature. So the conflict between people is inevitable. "The strong is king", those who follow me prosper, and those who oppose us perish.

The dead will die if they don't escape! As the saying goes: you can't afford to be provoked, you can afford to hide; Thirty-six plans, walking is the best policy. Hide where? ! Ling Tao doesn't know where to go, but he can farm in the Peach Blossom Garden.

Thirdly, Peach Blossom Garden is an artistic conception, an ideal, a beautiful dream and a spiritual paradise. Don't bother to search! As long as there is a "Buddha" in your heart, there will be no struggle with the world. The world is public, so enjoy it! When people live in the real society, it is inevitable that there will be conflicts between reality and ideals. When you feel helpless about reality, you will want to jump out of this circle and seek your ideal kingdom.

This may be the immortal charm of Peach Blossom Garden. I think, before the realization of capitalism, Peach Blossom Garden may always be the pursuit goal of the upright and the lost!
