The two volumes of "Enlightenment of Rhythm" were written by Che Wanyu of the Qing Dynasty. Che Wanyu (1632-1705), courtesy name Shuangting and nickname Hetian, was born in Shaoyang, Hunan. Kangxi Jiachen was a Jinshi, and he was promoted to the military department. In the second year of Kangxi (1663), he and his brother Wan Bei took the Huguang Township Examination. In 1664, they became Jinshi and selected common people. He is upright in nature, his voice shocks the world, he is pure in nature, and he is rich in knowledge. He is good at calligraphy and has the richest collection of Ming Dynasty ink, including ten volumes of "Ying Zhao Tang Ming Dynasty Dharma Calligraphy and Stone Carvings".
His other works include "Enlightenment of Rhythm", "Collection of Tang Poems in Huaiyuan", "Records of Warning between Monarchs and Ministers of Past Dynasties", etc. The book "Enlightenment of Rhythm" he wrote was a well-known enlightenment book in the Qing Dynasty and is still popular today.
