This is one of Shen Quanqi’s masterpieces handed down from generation to generation. The poet has three similar "untitled" "Miscellaneous Poems", all of which deal with resentment in the boudoir and reveal obvious anti-war sentiments. This poem not only resents "the army has not been disbanded for many years", but also hopes that good generals will end the war as soon as possible. It is a relatively positive poem in terms of ideology and is also quite unique in art.
The first couplet narrates and explains the background: There have been constant wars in the Huanglong garrison area all year round, and they have not stopped yet. A strong feeling of resentment and war overflows between the lines. The couplet expresses emotions and uses the moon to express feelings. It says that tonight in the boudoir and in the palace, under the shining of this bright moon, how many couples miss each other and miss each other. In the eyes of Mr. Zheng, the bright moon that he and his wife used to enjoy together in the boudoir kept coming to the camp to shine on him, as if he had infinite affection; while in the eyes of the missing wife in the boudoir, it seemed that the bright moon in front of him never appeared again. It is not as beautiful as in the past, because the full moon, which symbolized the beautiful life of the couple in the past, has long since left the boudoir and followed the beloved to the Han family camp. This couplet is obviously about love, but it talks about the moon everywhere; every word is about the moon, but every word is about the moon. In just ten words, the connotation is extremely rich. It not only describes the present of the couple's separation, but also touches on the past of the couple's reunion. It not only paints a clear-cut picture of lovesickness under the moon, looking at the bright moon in a different place, but also makes People are reminded of the moving scene of double photos under the moon when a couple gets along. Through pictures that imply contrast, the poet quietly writes about the deep and affectionate feelings of the bride and the husband missing each other.
Up to this point, the poet still has unfinished meaning, and the neck couplet further complements the poetic meaning with implicit and precise writing techniques. "Spring" and "today", "night" and "yesterday" respectively write the "meaning" of the young woman and the "love" of the husband, which is extremely wonderful. Among the four seasons, the most enchanting one is spring. How can the young woman not feel doubly melancholy when this beautiful spring time is wasted? The long silent night was the most sorrowful and resentful. The scene of the husband and wife saying goodbye last night seemed to still be appearing in front of Zheng's husband at this moment. "Today's love of spring" and "last night's love" are intertextual references, and both describe "young woman" and "beloved man". Combined with the words "frequent years" and "long in", we can see that the so-called "this spring" and "last night" are just examples. In the era of "frequent disarmament of troops", there are tens of thousands of couples who have been separated for a long time. They are missed so much in spring and spring, and sad every night! This couplet talks about the lovesickness of a young woman in the boudoir and her beloved in the camp. The separation between the two parties contains a common wish, which is what is written in the last couplet: "Who can use the flag and drum to capture the Dragon City." "General" means to lead. The ancient army used flags and drums as commands, and the "flags and drums" here refer to the army. I hope that good generals will lead the troops and defeat the enemy in one fell swoop, so that families can be reunited as soon as possible and the people can live and work in peace and contentment. After the pain of separation between the couple is written here, a layer of meaning naturally arises, revealing the theme of the poem and the deep emotion.
The concept of this poem is novel and exquisite, especially the middle four sentences, which focus on the words "love" and "meaning", creating new meanings that have never been said before. The emotions expressed in the poem and the meaning conveyed are related to each other. The business is done by emotion, and the emotion is fulfilled by the intention. The situation is extremely natural. From a literary point of view, the first and second couplets are both cross sentences, which are natural and coherent, and the tone is gentler; the third couplet is two short sentences with clever antithesis, which is like an urgent pipe and complicated strings, showing an urgent momentum; the last couplet uses The loose sentences became gentle again. The whole poem ends with a question, which increasingly seems to be short in words and long in meaning, with endless implications.
