Zheng Xie (1693~ 1765) was a painter and poet in Qing dynasty. The word Kerou,no. Banqiao, was born in Xinghua (now Xinghua, Jiangsu). He is good at drawing bamboo, orchids and stones. His calligraphy is famous for his "six and a half books" and his poems are well written, so he is called "three musts". His paintings are unique in the painting world. He, Li, Li Yi, Jin Nong, Huang Shen, Gao Xiang and Wang are also called "Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics".
Translation:
Firmly adhere to the castle peak and not relax, originally deeply rooted in the crevices. After many trials and tribulations, the bones are still strong and can blow the east and west and the north and south winds.
Appreciate:
The first sentence of the poem: "Insist that the castle peak will not relax", first of all, a towering bamboo firmly grasps the image of the gap in the castle peak and presents it to the readers. The word "bite" personifies bamboo, which not only shows the sight of bamboo climbing to the green hills, but also shows the spirit of bamboo's indomitable survival against difficulties and nature.
The second sentence, "Rooted in broken rocks", tells us that bamboo can stand proudly on the green hills because it is deeply rooted in broken rocks. Bamboo in Zheng Banqiao's poems and paintings is often inseparable from "stone". Sometimes, the stone constitutes the opposite of bamboo, such as "draw a bamboo branch and insert a stone. The stone is one foot higher than the bamboo branch. Although one foot makes it higher, I will lift my strength for many years"; Sometimes the stone becomes the background of bamboo, for example, "The autumn wind passed Xiaoxiang last night, and I was crazy when I touched the stone through the forest;" Only bamboo branches are not afraid, but they can fight a thousand games. "
In this poem, bamboo and stone are integrated. Without it, bamboo would be stiff and mountains would be green. These two poems also illustrate a simple and profound philosophy: deep foundation and strong power.
The last two sentences of the poem: "I am still strong after many trials, and I am willing to let the east, west, north and south wind." The bamboo in this poem has one characteristic. Not solitary bamboo, not static bamboo, but rock bamboo, wind bamboo. In Zheng Banqiao's poems and paintings, bamboo is often a symbol of noble conduct and tenacious will, while wind is often a representative of evil forces. In this poem, bamboo is also attacked by "east-west, north-south wind" all the year round.
However, because it is deeply rooted in the rock, it is still firm and tenacious. What kind of wind can do nothing. The poet used the words "thousand" and "ten thousand" to write the indomitable, calm and confident expression of bamboo, which can be said that the artistic conception of the whole poem suddenly emerged.
Feeling:
In fact, the bamboo in the poem is also the embodiment of the noble personality of the author Zheng Banqiao. In life, the poet is such a kind of rock bamboo that has close ties with the lower class, hates evil and is not afraid of powerful people.
The poet's pursuit of bamboo is not only the external shape, but also the injection of his own ideals and personality into each thin and hard rock bamboo, thus making this bamboo stone reveal a profound meaning and inner charm.
At this time, what stands in front of us is no longer a few ordinary bamboos. What we feel is an indomitable vitality and perseverance, and all this is contained in the rustling bamboo.
This is a poem expressing ambition with things, and it is also a poem about things. This poem concentrates on the tenacity and persistence of bamboo, and shows the poet's integrity, integrity and perseverance.
