What are the characteristics of prose novels and poems?

Prose: Form scattered and spirit gathered, including lyrical prose and narrative prose ... mainly lyrical. Beautiful strokes and different sentences.

Novel: Novel has time, place, people, events, causes and effects. Without these six points, it is not a novel (except mini-novels)!

Poetry: Poetry is very different. Express emotions with symbols, metaphors, personification, etc. The sentence pattern is neat and slightly longer.
