In 744 AD, Li Bai and Du Fu met in Luoyang. Li Bai is 43 years old and Du Fu is 32 years old. Li Bai and Du Fu met after Li Bai was released for offending powerful people, but despite the frustration of officialdom, he was still a famous poet, and Du Fu was relatively unknown. The two hit it off at first sight. Mr Wen Yiduo thinks that Du Li's encounter is the most exciting moment in the history of China literature, and perhaps only the encounter between Laozi and Confucius can be compared with it, and compares this encounter to "the collision between the sun and the moon". Du Fu also described in the poem: "Yu Yidong is a guest, and he is like a brother. Drunk in autumn, walk hand in hand with the Japanese. " Later, they separated, but they also wrote poems for each other. Du Fu, in particular, has always missed Li Bai, wrote many poems for Li Bai, and supported Li Bai when his accident happened.
