Original poem:
Once I tasted the vast sea, I felt that the water in other places was pale; Once you have experienced the clouds in Wushan, you feel that the clouds elsewhere are eclipsed.
Hurried through the flowers, lazy to look back; This reason is partly because of the ascetic monk, and partly because of who you used to be.
Translation:
Once you have been to the seaside, there is not enough water in other places; Clouds in other places are not called clouds except Wushan Mountain. Hurried through the flowers, too lazy to look back; This reason is partly due to the abstinence of monks and partly because you have had it.
Poetry appreciation
The first two sentences of this poem describe the depth of love between husband and wife. "In the past, the sea was difficult for water" was changed from Mencius wholeheartedly: "It is difficult for those who look at the sea to find water, but it is difficult for those who swim at the gate of saints." Indeed, after seeing the sea, can you see the water elsewhere? "Forever amber" is also a dark allusion. Wushan faces Yunfeng, facing the Yangtze River, and the clouds are steaming.
According to Song Yu's "Preface to Gao Tang Fu", it says: "Its cloud is transformed by the goddess, which belongs to the sky and goes down to the Yu Garden. It is as lush as a pine tree and as beautiful as a charming girl. " Compared with Wushan cloud, clouds elsewhere are naturally eclipsed, so they are not like clouds. These two sentences are saying that the love between two people, like the water in the sea and the clouds in Wushan, is unparalleled in depth and breadth, which is irreplaceable by other things. Compared with the love between husband and wife, the natural phenomena of nature are vast and magnificent, showing the eternal love between husband and wife.
Because of the love of "water is difficult" and "Feiyun", the poet can't see the flowers in the flowers, so he sings "I'm too lazy to look back at the flowers". The fourth sentence summarizes the last three sentences and tells the reason why you are too lazy to look back. In his life, Yuan Zhen "entrusted himself with carefree articles, paid Buddhist scriptures with his heart, and respected Buddhism and Taoism". In the case of "half-edge repair and half-edge gentleman", it can be seen that repair is only a sustenance for Yuan Zhen's loss of his beloved wife.
