[Edit this paragraph] Translation
A crescent moon hangs in Liuwan, and the moonlight is clear, cool and pleasant. The mountains in central Vietnam are reflected on a mirror-like stream, which is really beautiful. After three days of intermittent spring rain, the stream surged, and fish competed for new water. At midnight, people flocked to Xitou Shoal.
Lanxi, now Lanxi City (county-level city), was called "little shanghai" in modern times because of its developed and prosperous water transportation. The word "Yue" in the poem "Yue Mountain Looking in the Mirror" should be interpreted as the ancient Yue State. This poem was written by Dai Shulun, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty, when he passed through Lanjiang River. It should not refer to the "southeast coast" in general. In ancient times, the "fourteen states" under the jurisdiction of the State of Yue were in the areas of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Jiangxi. Li Qingzhao wrote in "Eight Wings Building" that "the water flows three thousand miles south, and the air pressure makes the city into fourteen states", referring to Jinhua City, which is about forty miles away from Lanxi.

Version 1:
The first sentence, "A cold moon hangs like an eyebrow in Liuwan", is to look up at the sky. The word "Leng Yue" not only describes the beauty of moonlight, but also points out the cool and pleasant climate after the spring rain. Hanging Liuwan reminds people of the sight of the moon hanging down, illuminating Lanxi, and the stream and the moon setting each other off. The second sentence, "Look in the mirror of Zhongshan", is to look down at the stream and put it in Lanxi. The color of water is very clear. Here, the poet did not deliberately exaggerate the sparseness of the stars and the beauty of the moon, but said that the rich charm of the word "look in the mirror" lies here. Inspire readers to imagine the elegant Lanxi mountains, swaying in the reflection of the stream, hazy and ethereal, making people fall into fairyland. What a wonderful artistic realm is depicted by faint pen and ink.
It is true that the scenery of the stream is beautiful, but for fishermen boating on the stream, the greatest pleasure is in the spring tide fishing season: "Peach blossoms rain in Lanxi for three days, and carp come to the beach in the middle of the night." Freshwater fish such as crucian carp love fresh water (rain) very much. On the third day of the spring rain, the stream surged and the fish swarmed. Peach Blossom Rain not only shows the seasons, but also shows the beautiful scenery: spring.
This poem has never written "people" or "feelings" from beginning to end, but it makes people feel that there are people in the scenery and there are feelings in the scenery. In Ming Che's Flowers Like Brocade, the poet vividly shows the beauty of mountains and rivers, the freshness of moonlight and the joy of fishermen, giving people an immersive aesthetic feeling after reading it. Judging from the structure of the poem, the first two sentences are static scenery, and the last two sentences are the moon, trees, rivers and mountains reflected in the water in the moonlight. A word "cool" makes people feel that spring is still cold, and a word "mirror" makes people feel the silence of the moonlit night. The poem is beautifully written and delicate, written by literati. Three or four sentences give people a completely different feeling, such as quoting folk phenology, catchy and unpretentious, which credibly describes the fact that fish in Lanxi River increased after the spring rain. Although the upper and lower couplets are written in different ways, they are also harmoniously combined into a leisure fishing map on the riverside in spring night.

Version 2:
This is a landscape poem in the name of "the best". It's about the night scene of Lanxi. It's sunny after the rain.
Because it rained for three days in a row, and it was in February and March of the lunar calendar, the fisherman felt a little cold at night. Because people feel cold, they think the moon is cold. This is the transmission of touch (coolness can only be felt through skin contact) to vision. Sensory transfer is a common phenomenon. For example, we often say that "singing is mellow", "singing" can only be heard with ears, "circle" can only be seen with eyes, and "moistening" can only be felt with skin. Now all kinds of feelings are transferred to communication. Mr. Qian Zhongshu called it "synaesthesia", and some people called it "telepathy". "Leng Yue" is a word with synaesthesia.
But the word "cool" in "cool moon" seems to mean "quiet". The beginning is Leng Yue, which puts the whole poem in a very quiet state.
The first two sentences of this poem are static, while the last two sentences are dynamic. There is movement in silence, and the quieter it is, the quieter it is!
