Where is Jishi Mountain?

Jishishan is located between Linxia Prefecture in Gansu Province and Xunhua County in Qinghai Province.

1, grassland resources

At the eastern foot of Jishishan, there are natural pastures with abundant water resources and lush grass, such as Xiangshuiping and Huangcaoping. Yellow lawn, located at the foot of Xiaoji Mountain, is between 2300 and 2600 meters above sea level.

It is an alpine meadow with an area of about 20,000 mu, and the terrain is high in the west and low in the east. It is distributed in towns such as Liuji, Teachers College and Liugou, and extends to the vicinity of Xietao Village. The terrain is mainly loess headland, and there are relatively open beaches in the area. It is one of the main pastures in Jishishan County.

2. Forest resources

The three forest farms in Jishishan County: Dadun Forest Farm, Dahejia Forest Farm and Gaixinping Forest Farm, all belong to the forest areas at the eastern foot of Jishishan. Among them: Gaixinping, located in the northwest of Jishishan County on the western edge of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Heya Village in Liuji Township, is a typical deep valley landform with good growth of natural and secondary shrubs. The total area of forest farm is about10.6 million hectares, which is the largest forest in the county.
