Stray Birds
Birds is a collection of philosophical English maxims, including 325 poems. The first edition was completed in 19 16. Part of it was translated by the poet from his own Bengali aphorism collection "Broken Jade Collection" (1899), and the other part was an impromptu English poem written by the poet during his visit to Japan in 19 16. The poet stayed in Japan for more than three months, and the ladies kept asking him to write a fan or a commemorative book. Considering this background, it is not difficult for us to understand why most of these poems are only one or two lines. The poet once praised the simplicity of Japanese haiku, and his Bird was obviously influenced by this poetic style. Therefore, profound wisdom and short space are its remarkable characteristics. Zhou Cezong, a Chinese-American scholar, believes that these poems are "like pebbles shining on the beach, each with its own world. They are fragmentary and short-lived; But it is rich, profound and reasonable.
Gardener suit
The Gardener Collection is one of Tagore's other important masterpieces, and it is a "song of life". It is more integrated into the poet's youth experience and describes the happiness, troubles and sadness of love in detail, which can be regarded as a youth love song. The poet sang these love songs in retrospect. When recalling the throbbing of youth, he undoubtedly kept a certain distance from his own youth and made a rational examination and thinking, so that this love song flashed the glory of philosophy from time to time. Reading these poems is like walking in the early summer after a storm, with an irresistible freshness and fragrance, as if seeing a clear world. Everything is so pure and beautiful that people unconsciously appreciate the taste of love and youth.

My last gift to you will be a tear that falls into the depths of your youth, making your smile sweeter; When the exultation of the day is cruel, it will turn into mist and cover your charming face.
