Where is the romanticism in Chu Ci?

The feelings in Songs of the South are either hot, intense and high-spirited, or lingering, delicate and deep; At the same time, due to the "I" in the poem, strong self-awareness and personality, the life of the poem is full of inner quality and charm, pointing directly to our hearts and bringing us touch, tears, joy and melancholy.

Qu Yuan's pen turns iron into gold and decay into magic. He brought in fairy tales, fables and myths full of primitive meanings, and he brought in the common sayings, obscenity and witchcraft of Chu people, transforming them into mysterious atmosphere, romantic artistic conception, elegant charm, gorgeous colors and crazy passion.

Chu Ci is a new poetic style created by Qu Yuan and the first collection of romantic poems in the history of China literature. The name of "Songs of the South" existed in the early years of the Western Han Dynasty and was compiled by Liu Xiangnai. Wang Yi wrote chapters and sentences in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Chu Ci experienced Qu Yuan's creation, imitation after Qu Yuan's submission, collection in early Han Dynasty and collection by Liu Xiang. This book should have been written between 26 BC and 6 BC.
