In the 1980s, I was still writing my composition My Ideal in class. A group of young people living in cities gave up eulogizing poems and tried their best to read western poems such as Howl by Ginsburg, which had just been banned, and started a brand-new poetry experiment. At that time, various doctrines and poetic schools were surging. Set off a revolution in modern poetry. It was an era of poetry. Even when we were young, we copied mimeographed so-called poems that seemed incomprehensible every day. Twenty years later, I chatted with the poet Hua Fen. He said: We are the generation destroyed by poetry after 70. Now, we want to stay away from poetry, but poetry has been integrated with our lives and cannot be completely separated.
Three years ago, I came across Wu Fei, a poet who is "non-non-non-non-non-ism" in Netease's blog. He said that he had stopped writing poems. Indeed, while admiring some comments on him and his poems in various poetry reviews with pride, he wrote ambiguous and erotic words that were deleted many times by Netease, but no whole poem came out. At the beginning of this year, he suddenly sent me a message: A Zhong started a blog at Netease, so please invite him. At this time, I realized that he didn't stop writing poems, but, like some of his previous experiments on poetry, he wanted to forget the form and language of poetry and make poetry completely coincide with life.

At the end of last year, some Taiwan Province poets came to Shenzhen to have a drink with me, and we talked about poetry. I said that we always think that poetry is higher than us and life, that poetry is profound and beautiful, that poetry is eternal and immortal, and that poetry is a' perfect interpretation' of some skills. In fact, it is just a life, a process, an experience, a maturity, a fall, a truth, a break, and even a death, and then rebirth. It cannot exist independently from life. So everyone's poems are attached to his unique life experience, which is different. Each of us reads the same poem and feels different because of our unique life experience. Just as we can't ask everyone to live the same life, we can't just tell others their poems. You can't accuse her of shallowness because her poems are pure and beautiful, and you can't ask him to be gentle and touching because of his heavy atmosphere. Everyone's poetry comes from everyone's experience of life, and there is no perfect poem. As long as it is divorced from your real life, it is a good poem. We can appreciate it and say whether we like it or not from the heart, but we never have the right to ask others how to write a good poem.
I often see some poets commenting on other people's poems and saying: Your technique is out of date, so we should use the latest and best techniques and techniques to write the most fashionable and good poems. In fact, the skill of poetry is the embellishment and decoration of life. Excessive skill is a luxury of life, which can surprise you at the moment of first contact, but frequent luxury is like buying a gift and returning pearls, which makes people linger on the surface of life and ignore the essence of life. What kind of technique a poem uses depends on what kind of picture the poet wants to capture to express what kind of connotation. Improper techniques and techniques will greatly damage the poem itself. As a result, there was the rise of "white poetry" held high in Guangdong poetry circles. They try to reduce the decoration of life, intervene in life in the most direct, simple and rude way, peel off that thin coat and present the truest side of life to you. They believe that all external forms are hypocritical, virtual and even illusory, and only real life is real and connected with life. They want poetry to restore the true colors of life, because life is the most beautiful poem.

Real life is always dull, and only a dull life can last long. Real poets are always silent, and they disdain to publish too many profound remarks and theories. They stick to a plain life and keep writing some lonely poems. True poetry is always as plain and sincere as running water. Sometimes, you can't see the passage of time. Yes, it is a sculpture-like static beauty solidification. In fact, this is a poem that the poet stripped from his life.
We can distinguish between history and present life, between painful and happy memories, between ruins and disasters, between modern industrial civilization, between spiritual poverty and all kinds of ugliness in society, and between high-level material civilization. We can separate the process of our life and the height we can reach in this life from the ordinary life section. We can even separate ourselves from meditation and silence and reassemble ourselves into another brand-new self. This should be the mission and significance of contemporary poets. Poets are ordinary and mediocre, but because of the truth and essence stripped out again and again, our poems will not become mere forms and appearances, and will not be truly ordinary and mediocre.

With the popularization of life, we can't get rid of vulgar daily life and despicable politics of intrigue. However, we always want our poems to be elegant and pure, not to stir up a trace of dust, and to bring people a good feeling or epiphany. Such contradictions always make our poetry vulgar. Like fallen leaves on a tree, they keep falling in the wind, and you can't clean them up. Green water, a poetess of Netease, said: However, we can wait and see the fate of those fallen leaves, their life experiences and processes. Anyway, this life is nothing more than coming and going. From a distance, it is also a beautiful realm, a beautiful poem.
Our mean, humble, mediocre, ordinary, snobbish, utilitarian and impetuous life has been appreciated as a beautiful poem because of our meditation. This is the beauty of poetry and the realm of poets.
