Similarities and differences of Yuefu in Northern and Southern Dynasties. thank you

First, from the theme point of view, Yuefu folk songs in the Southern Dynasties and the love between men and women; Yuefu folk songs in the Northern Dynasties are full of critical spirit and broad vision. All kinds of characters are involved, such as the tragic scene of war, the opposition between the rich and the poor, folk customs, dinosaur characters, and so on. Old women, orphans, poor Han Chinese, war generals, riding and shooting heroes, and homeless people all appear in the poem, and the lyrics describe their lives, thoughts and feelings.

Secondly, from the perspective of style, there are also significant differences in the styles of Yuefu folk songs between the north and the south. Nan Ge specializes in touching and graceful love, and his style is euphemistic and delicate; Beige expresses a generous and sad mood, and its style is straightforward and rough.

Thirdly, from the linguistic point of view, southern songs are beautiful, and puns and homophonic argots are commonly used; The simplicity of northern songs has a rough taste.

Fourthly, from the perspective of timbre, "Chen Liang is the voice, qi zhou is the song", and Wushu opera is female music with soft timbre; Wu Le, a direct member of the army, plays the gongs and drums, and its tone is characterized by profound sadness.

Fifth, in terms of artistic form, the formal system of Yuefu folk songs in the north and the south is relatively close, and most of the northern songs are short lyric poems with five words and four sentences. Some northern songs are written in foreign languages and have been translated into Chinese. Some of them are written directly in Chinese. Five-character poems flourished in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, so it is not difficult to understand that there are many five-character poems in folk songs. In addition, when northern folk songs entered the south from the north, they were translated and polished by southern writers, so they were more easily accepted by southern folk songs in the system. There are five words, three sentences, five sentences and six sentences in Nanqu, which are lacking in Beiqu. The seven-character, two-sentence and four-sentence style of Beiqu is not found in Wu Sheng's western music. As for narrative poetry, it is unique in the Northern Song Dynasty.
