Route: Fuchengmennei Street-Xisi North Street-? Luo Chang Street in Dahong? -Sishku Street? -Xi Tiananmen Street? -Xisi South Street
Station 1: Jianjian Hongci Guangji Temple
Guangji Temple in Fuchengmennei Street is an ancient temple with a long history of more than 500 years. I walked into the temple with full respect and found many precious cultural relics and Buddhist documents in the relic pavilion and other temples. Every exhibit shows a heavy sense of history. While deeply understanding Buddhist culture, I was also shocked by the solemn atmosphere here. After walking 200 meters, I was lucky enough to visit the Imperial Temple, which made me more interested in the history of China.
Second stop: Xishiku Street, Xishiku Catholic Church.
The Catholic Church on Xishiku Street is one of the largest and oldest churches in Beijing. The main building adopts Gothic style, which exudes a solemn atmosphere. When I came here, the Chinese rose in May was in full bloom, and the flower gallery added a romantic atmosphere to the church. I left this beautiful scene and recorded this unforgettable moment through photos.
Third stop: 190 1 coffee and Huatian Yanji cold noodles.
190 1 Coffee is located in the European-style building converted from the annex of Xishiku Church. It was named after the church was built in 190 1 year. I found a quiet place in this noisy corner, especially the dining environment on the second floor, which is very suitable for relaxing, enjoying a cup of coffee or reading a book. Considering the recent warmer weather, it is a good choice to taste cold noodles here at noon! I heard that many people come from afar to taste the unique taste of Yanji cold noodles.
Fourth stop: geological museum, China.
Geological museum, China, located in Xisi South Street, is a building of the Republic of China with a long history. As a comprehensive geoscience museum, there are rich geological specimens here, with more than 550,000 pieces. The museum shows a wide range of earth sciences, the most famous of which is mineral specimens. However, for a dinosaur enthusiast like me, the most exciting thing is the dinosaur fossils such as the giant Shandong dragon and the Chinese dragon bird. Here, I seem to travel through time and space and touch the footsteps of ancient life at close range.
Fifth stop: Zhengyang Bookstore
In Zhengyang Bookstore in Xisi South Street, I found a reading space full of old Beijing feelings. This place is called Song Wan Old Man Tower, which has a history of 800 years. When I came here, I found that this bookstore has a very rich collection of books, which attracted many tourists to visit. I felt the unique flavor of old Beijing in the courtyard at the entrance of this brick tower hutong. This is a safe haven for people. I like reading, thinking and calming down here. Such a bookstore makes me feel the cultural heritage of Beijing more deeply.
