Origin of the theme:
In the first week of school, the children talked about the activities during the summer vacation together. Some said: "I have been to the Chinese Dinosaur." There are all kinds of dinosaurs in the park. I also bought a DVD introducing dinosaurs. "Some said: "Our puppy is sick, and dad is giving him medicine..." What about the little dog at home? What happened to the cat, what happened to the turtle. Some children also brought animal toys: rabbits, dinosaurs, bears, tigers, and kangaroos. There were many topics about animals among the children. After observing the children's interests, I decided to use "animals" as the exploratory theme of my class this semester. In addition, I also considered that the children in my class are lacking in unity and friendship. There are often conflicts between peers, and they are unwilling to forgive each other for some small things. For this reason, I finally designed the theme "Our Good Friends—Animals" based on two aspects of consideration, aiming to guide children to understand some animal knowledge, love animals, and know how to protect animals. By cultivating their understanding of human beings, Friends - the love of animals, indirectly educates children to be friendly and united with their peers when interacting with them.
