Children's poem "Watching TV"

From: People's Education Publishing House, the second volume of Grade One Chinese.

Author: Pu Huaqing

Every day, my family watches TV.

Watching TV at home is really great-

Dad is obviously a football fan,

But turn off a wonderful ball game.

I don't know why I switched to Peking Opera.

Babbling, singing endlessly.

Only grandma was fascinated,

My father and I are both taking a nap.

When did grandma change the channel?

The athletes galloped on the field.

"Good shot, good shot, quick shot!"

My father and I shouted with joy.

Grandma doesn't watch TV, but she watches us.

Clap your hands and laugh with us.

Mother came out of the study,

She is revising her latest manuscript.

Looking at mom's tired face,

We all suggested stopping watching the ball game.

Let mother listen to music and watch dance.

Every day, my family watches TV.

Watching TV at home is really wonderful!

Everyone has a secret in his heart,

What is it? You know that without telling me.

Poetry expresses warm feelings;

Dad loves watching football games, but it's his filial duty to change the game into Beijing opera that grandma loves to watch. Grandma gave up her favorite Beijing opera and switched to the football channel, clapping and laughing with us, which is the kindness of the old man;

Seeing my mother's fatigue, we all proposed to turn off the ball game and let my mother listen to music and watch the dance. This is not only grandma's kindness, but also dad's concern. Of course, there is also the care that I learned from my elders.

Pu Huaqing's excellent works, such as "Watching TV" and "Weather Forecast", were very popular as soon as they came out and spread among children for a long time. Especially after his poems were included in the Chinese textbook, the children felt the warmth of the family in detail through the explanation of the Chinese teacher.

Pu Huaqing's children's poems can be selected into textbooks to arouse the enthusiasm of teachers and students. After careful exploration, these poems have positive value as teaching materials. A work with "language" must have positive energy. Some works that are popular with children can sell well and are very readable, but they may not be included in textbooks.

Textbooks for Chinese classes and literature anthologies for independent reading may not always be universal. This difference is not the quality of the work, but the function.

The children's poems selected by Pu Huaqing into Chinese textbooks are both readable and "Chinese", which determines the high taste of his children's poems.
