Today, our family of three rode motorcycles to the Youzi Mountain Scenic Area to climb mountains.
As soon as I drove into Youzishan Scenic Area, I saw classical buildings neatly lined up on both sides of the road. At the end of the road is a large temple with an open-air Buddha inside, which is the famous "Jinling Big Buddha". The golden light shines under the sun, making people feel relaxed and happy.
We bypassed the temple and started climbing along the winding road. I took the lead and ran in front, followed closely by my parents. By the time I reached the halfway point of the mountain, I was so tired that I was out of breath. When I looked back, I saw that my parents had been far away from me. So, I stopped and waited for them. I looked around and saw that the pine forest at the foot of the mountain was lush and green, and the pond was like a piece of bright glass inlaid on the earth. The paths in the distance are like jade belts, dividing the farmland into countless pieces. From a distance, it really looks like the rows of grids we use to write on. How wonderful! I think: The person who invented the Tianzi grid was probably inspired by the scene in the farmland and created it! "Wang Hao, take the path!" I was lost in thought when I suddenly heard my father's cry. When I looked back, my parents had already caught up. I couldn't help but ask: "Dad, why don't we take the flat road instead of the rugged path?" Dad smiled and said to me: "Son, whether it's mountain climbing or life in the future, although there are flat and wide roads, But there are also difficult and tortuous roads, whether they are roads or small roads, we must learn to face them bravely." After hearing this, I immediately understood my father's good intentions, and I cheered up, and followed my parents to abandon the main road and go straight to the small road.
Youzi Mountain is very high, so the hiking trail is very steep. Not only are the roads bumpy, but there are also many thorns blocking the road. If you are scratched by them, it will be very painful, and every step you take is very difficult. In addition, there is a steep cliff on one side of the path. If you are not careful, you will fall down, which makes people feel frightened. I walked carefully in the middle, and my mother kept reminding me to be careful, but she was wearing high heels which made me even more worried. So, I held my mother tightly all the way and walked up step by step. Halfway through, I felt as if my legs were tied with lead and I really didn’t want to climb any more. But I remembered the teacher’s words: Persistence is victory. So, I gritted my teeth, moved step by step, and finally climbed to the top of the mountain. "Ah, I won!" I cheered happily. I couldn't help but think of Kou Zhun's "Ode to Mount Hua": "Only the sky is above, and there are no mountains with it. When I look up, the sun is approaching, but when I look back, the white clouds are low." Yes, look, the sun is right above my head, it seems really You can catch it as soon as you stretch out your hand, and the houses at the foot of the mountain are like little ants lying on the ground, and the pond is like a crystal mirror, shining silver and very beautiful. It’s really like “being at the top of the mountain and seeing all the small mountains at a glance”!
When I was going down the mountain, I couldn't control my steps and started running involuntarily. I almost fell. As my father said: "It's easier to go up the mountain than to go down the mountain."
