The Guizhou-Zhangjiang-Changzhou High-speed Railway has four stations in Taoyuan County: Niuchehe Station, Longtanzhen Station, Taoyuan Station, and Zoushi Station.

The Guizhou-Changzhou Railway has 15 stations, 9 of which handle passenger transportation: Qianjiang Station - Xianfeng Station - Laifeng Station - Longshan North Station - Shuishaping Station - Fengyancun Station - Sangzhi Station - Jiao Ziya Station-Zhangjiajie West Station-Hejiacun Station-Niuchehe Station-Longtan Town Station-Taoyuan Station-Zoushi Station-Changde Station, and Qianjiang North Station is reserved between Qianjiang Station and Xianfeng Station.

The Guizhou-Changzhou Railway departs from the Qianjiang Station of the Chongqing-Huaihua Railway and goes eastbound. Along the way, it passes through Qianjiang District of Chongqing City, Xianfeng County and Laifeng County of Enshi Prefecture of Hubei Province, Longshan County of Xiangxi Prefecture of Hunan Province, Sangzhi County and Yongding County of Zhangjiajie City District, connects with the Jiaoliu Railway in Zhangjiajie City, and goes eastward from Taoyuan County, Changde City to the Changde Station of the Shichang Railway in Changde City, Hunan Province. The line crosses Chongqing, Hubei, and Hunan provinces and is located at the junction of central and western China, passing through Minority gathering areas such as southeastern Chongqing, southwestern Hubei, and northwestern Hunan.

Opening of Guizhou-Changzhou Railway

On December 26, 2019, a Harmony EMU passenger train was traveling on the Hunan section of the Guizhou-Changchun Railway. On the same day, the Guizhou-Zhangjiajie-Changzhou Railway was officially put into operation, filling the gaps in the railway network in the border areas of Chongqing, Hubei and Hunan. Hunan Province’s Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Zhangjiajie City and Changde City finally welcomed the long-awaited railway "High-speed rail era".

At the initial stage of the opening of the Guizhou-Changzhou Railway, the railway department will arrange to operate 8 pairs of EMU trains. After the adjustment of the national railway operation map on December 30, 2019, 12 pairs of EMU trains will be operated on daily lines, 8 pairs of peak lines, and 7 pairs of general-speed trains will be operated. The journey from Qianjiang to Changde will take 3 hours and 9 minutes, and the running time from Changsha to Zhangjiajie will be reduced to 2 hours and 40 minutes.
