Lu Yue's Ancient Poems in Xue Mei Song Dynasty

Lu Yue's poem Xue Meisong, written by Xue Mei who didn't want to give up for spring, was criticized by the poet. The snow in Mei Xu Xun is three points white, but the snow has lost a kind of plum fragrance.

Xue Mei

Xue Mei's two poems are a set of seven-character quatrains written by Lu Yue, a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. These two poems illustrate the relationship between plum, snow and poetry, and they are indispensable. Only when they are combined can they form beautiful spring scenery.

The first two sentences of the first poem are about Xue Mei's striving for spring, which is up to the poet to judge. The last two sentences are the poet's comments on Mei and Xue. The first sentence of the second poem is about the relationship between plum and snow, and the second sentence is about the relationship between snow and poetry. The last two sentences describe the relationship between plum blossom, snow and poetry. Plum blossoms are in bloom but it hasn't snowed yet, so it still lacks poetry. These two poems are full of interest.

The specific creation dates of these two poems can no longer be verified, and they are considered to be an early spring day at the end of the Song Dynasty, when plum blossoms were in full bloom and the authors enjoyed themselves.

Plum, snow and poetry make spring soar. It should be noted that the third sentence is easily misunderstood as "the poem has been written and it has just snowed heavily". The actual situation is that I was moved by the scene and it snowed heavily before I wrote a poem.

The title of this poem is Xue Mei. We can't say that this poem about snow was written before it snowed. The reason why "poetic success" is put in front of "sky and snow" is because it is limited by poetic meter.

Knowledge expansion:

Lu Meipo, alias Lu Yue, was born in the late Northern Song Dynasty. His specific year of birth and death and life story are unknown, and there are not many poems left in the world. He is a friend of Liu Guo, and his two "Xue Mei" are immortal.

Lu Meipo, a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty, was born and died in an unknown year. His songs and poems include "The Que Qiaoxian" (March 21st) and other four. "Mei Po" should not be his name, but his own name is Mei Po. Up to now, his original name and word have been lost, leaving only one name called Lu Meipo.

According to his poems, it can be concluded that he is good at writing quatrains, plants, flowers and plum blossoms. He has lived in Beijing for a long time, and has a good relationship with Liu Guo and a good family background.

As a new-school poet, when we talk about Liu Guo, we always like to associate him with "Jin Goma Iron", "Rectifying Gan Kun" and "Swearing to Kill Loulan", and bold and straightforward is the true nature of his writing. However, some of his words are implicit and euphemistic.

On the contrary, people feel that he is a real hero and his true nature. Reminiscent of a sentence said by Mr. Lu Xun: "Ruthlessness is not necessarily a real hero", the more I think this sentence is correct.
