Psalm 34:9- 10 Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who wants nothing but hearing the word.

Verse 9 "Fear the Lord, you saints of the Lord, for those who fear him will want nothing." -The Lord is holy, so anyone who belongs to the Lord in his heart is holy because of him, and is called a "holy people". God said, "I am the Lord your God, so be holy, because I am holy" (Leviticus 1 1: 44). What the Lord likes to do is to give his temperament to the people who belong to him. This is one of the mysteries of godliness. Those who know God must fear God because they know how holy, powerful, wise and weak God is. Therefore, if someone has no fear of God, he obviously doesn't know God at all. Whoever has awe will be blessed by God. God looked at people's hearts and saw that they feared him, so he gave him what he lacked in spiritual gifts with his omnipotence and wisdom. He who fears God wants nothing. The apostle Paul wrote, "My God will meet all your needs in Christ Jesus according to his glorious riches" (Philippians 4: 19).

Section 10: "The young lion was hungry, but he didn't ask for the blessing of the Lord." Seeking the Lord is seeking the best treasure in the universe. If we seek such benefits, we will not lack them. God always gives people what they seek. If we seek God, we will get all his benefits. The most regrettable thing is those who seek false happiness in the world all their lives. When an enemy robbed a poor widow, he said to her, "We will never leave you anything to eat and wear." She replied, "I don't care about these things. Since there is a God in the sky, I will never lack it. " She knew that the God she knew would not abandon her. The Lord Jesus himself said, "Your heavenly father knows all these things you need" (Matthew 6: 32).

The life of fearing God is beautiful-everyone says so, but what is the fear of God?

You say that you belong to the Lord, but do you fear the Lord? Fear of the Lord means loving, fearing and glorifying the Lord deeply. We should show our true respect for the Lord with humility and sincere worship. Those who fear the Lord are Abraham (see 17: 2-4), Moses (see 3: 5-6) and Israel (see 19: 16-24). Their respect for God is different in behavior, but they all have deep respect for the Lord.

Is there really nothing missing? That's great! But in fact, what is really needed is ...

34: 9- 10 at first, we will question David's statement because we seem to be missing a lot of good things. For Christians, this is not a promise to do everything, which means that all their needs will be met. On the contrary, it is David's praise for God's goodness. Anyone in need who prays for God's name will be heard. God sometimes listens to people's prayers in unexpected ways. Remember, God knows our needs, and our deepest needs are spiritual needs. Although many Christians face unbearable poverty, they still have enough spiritual nutrition to live mainly. David said that with God, you have everything you really need. God is enough. If you feel that you lack everything you need, then you should ask yourself: (1) Is this what you really need? (2) Is this demand really good for me? (3) Is this the best time for me to get it? Even if you answer "yes" to all three aspects, God may just make you unable to help you rely on God more at this time. God wants you to know that your need for God far exceeds your immediate needs.
