The Maitreya Buddha statue carved from white sandalwood is carved from a whole piece of white sandalwood. It is 18 meters high on the ground and buried 8 meters underground. The entire Buddha statue stands on the white marble throne of Mount Sumeru, with the Buddha's head reaching towards the caisson in the highest attic. When making a Buddha statue, just to make a robe for the Buddha statue, you have to walk 1,100 meters, so Wanfu Pavilion is also called the "Big Buddha Tower".
