Coincidentally, in Xinjiang, China, there are also descendants of the Vietnamese royal family living here, and its origin has to start from the Ming Dynasty. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, m?c· Tai T abolished the post-Li Dynasty, established the Mo Dynasty and joined the Ming Dynasty. The post-Li dynasty established its rule in southern Vietnam, forming the northern and southern dynasties of Vietnam.
During the reign of Kangxi, the Mo dynasty was destroyed by the post-Li dynasty, and later generations changed their surname to Huang and continued to resist Li. During the Qianlong period, under the continuous attack of Hou Li and other tribes, Huang Gongyou led his troops back to Yunnan, China. Qianlong acquiesced in Huang Gongyou's behavior and placed more than 200 people including Huang Gongyou in Yunnan on the spot. Unexpectedly, Huang Gongyou and his colleagues were not satisfied with the management of the local toast, so Emperor Qianlong later split them up and placed them in Heilongjiang and Xinjiang.
Among them, Huang Gongyou led 100 people to be placed near Dihua (now Urumqi) in Xinjiang, and each of them was given 30 mu of land to lend them livestock, farm tools, houses and other means of production and living. Since then, they have survived in this area. The Vietnamese side did raise objections several times and asked the Qing government to repatriate, but the Qing government ignored them in order to beat them and appease the surrendered people.
In fact, during the Qianlong period, foreigners paid more attention to their submission, mainly to their political influence, which seemed to be "universal" during the Qianlong period. For example, at that time, Wobaxi led the Turhute Department to return to its homeland, and Emperor Qianlong also made proper arrangements to split it up and resettle it.
Huang Gong, a descendant of the Moh royal family in Vietnam, has never seen any historical records of this "early reclamation team" since then, which shows that they have integrated into the local people, but the place name "Annan Gong" in Toutun River in Urumqi still exists. Later, many ancient Vietnamese coins were unearthed in this area, which proved their existence.
The story of Huang Gongyou's exile in Xinjiang is also recorded in detail in Vietnamese history books, and of course it is also recorded in Chinese.
