Du Fu came back from a walk in the forest, and it was getting late. When the bottle was opened, it was later than before. As dusk approaches, the light and shadow are dim, and the action of opening a bottle before drinking seems so quiet and silent. A word "late" tells the time when this person has already settled down. It is because you are "late" that you can enjoy a person's rest and meditation. This is the lonely atmosphere created by Du Fu. It is quiet and dull, almost expressionless, as if to emphasize that this is an ordinary day. When a person drinks, Du Fu's mind is not on the wine. He looked at a bee trapped in falling catkins and an ant walking on a dead pear. Every image involved here (keeping bees, leaving sheep, walking ants, and dying pears) is not lonely, but Du Fu has removed the possible heavy emotions and outlined these two scenes. He didn't have any guesses and messages about withered pears and ants crawling around on it. This represents Du Fu's complete acceptance of the lonely scene of life. This is Adu. He's not going to start again when he comes back. What he is thinking at this time is a kind of "positive retreat" to life.
When I wrote this solo, it was two years ago (76 1). At that time, Du Fu lived in a thatched cottage, between Xinjin and Qingcheng. Once, helpless, I made a wish to "stand on the road in Tianjin", but I could only "eat, drink and drink". At this time, Du Fu in Beijing finally lived a relatively stable life. In fact, Du inadvertently predicted his old age in his early years, which is the famous sentence "The boss turned down" ("From Beijing to Fengxian", 500 words). "Frustration" is a mature and harmonious realm, which can describe Du Fu's life and poetry in his later years. For example, in this poem, although he is also a lonely person, the scene is not sad. Walking into the depths of the village, opening bottles and scooping wine is slow and natural. It seems that you can hear ants walking silently, revealing vicissitudes and submission, that is, to look at and accept the present life calmly, which is the real retreat from the past emotions and uneasiness. So he said he didn't want to be an official when he was young. In his bones, he prefers this lonely seclusion and leads an ordinary life.
