Composition for the first grade of junior high school, more than 500 words, narrative essay "The Time Passed"

Childhood is like a beach. There are countless shells lying on the beach waiting for us to pick up. Among them, some are exciting, some are sad, some are working towards ideals, and some are not enterprising. Retreating. In my childhood, what I remember most clearly was that time in fifth grade.

It was the first math test in the first semester of fifth grade. I easily got full marks, and I was very excited. I was praised by the teacher at school and envied by my classmates, especially by Teacher Yuan. I couldn't be happier. Teacher Yuan is our mathematics teacher. She is a special teacher with a very high teaching level. Teacher Yuan will retire in another year, and we are her last students.

I was even more proud of getting a perfect score in the exam. I didn’t pay attention in class and didn’t finish my homework seriously. I thought: I know all these things, it’s not difficult at all. As a result, my math scores began to decline. I couldn't get all my assignments right, even the simplest questions were wrong, and my test scores were not as good as before. I only got 89 points in the second test. "Learning is like sailing against the current. If you don't advance, you will retreat." Everyone knows this truth, but I forgot about it at the time, found a "careless" excuse for my poor performance, and still went my own way.

One Monday afternoon, the brigade counselor asked the brigade committee and squadron leader of each class to go to a meeting. The squadron leader of our class completed his homework faster and went there first, but I still had one question left. Finished, so it was a little later than him. Looking back on that incident now, I really want to thank that question for letting me leave a little later.

Soon, I finished writing the last question. I took my pen and notebook and prepared to go to the meeting. When I walked to the door of the classroom, Teacher Yuan stopped me. She calmly said to me: "You don't know how to do it. A short-lived person, right? Do you know what a short-lived person means? "This sentence sounds very plain, but it has a great shock in my heart. The building I built with pride collapsed in an instant. , leaving only a pile of ruins, my body seemed to have suffered a major earthquake. A flash in the pan? Am I really just a flash in the pan? No! Absolutely not! I must study hard! Since then, I seem to have changed. I am no longer proud. I study hard and my grades have improved. When I got full marks again in the third test, Teacher Yuan showed me a satisfied smile.

Thank you, Teacher Yuan, for making me understand the importance of down-to-earth study. I don’t know how I left my alma mater. I only know that the distant life is waiting for me to explore.

Alma mater,

Do you still remember that I secretly hid the love letter under your tree?

Alma mater,

Do you still remember how naughtily I and my classmates carved words at your feet?

Alma mater,

I will never forget the days when you loved me.

I am happier than all the children.

Alma mater,

I will always remember you
