Poetry about moonlight

Poetry of Moonlight

(1) Thoughts on a Quiet Night

Li Bai (Tang Dynasty)

The moonlight shines brightly in front of the bed, and it is suspected to be frost on the ground. Raise your head to look at the bright moon, lower your head to think about your hometown.

(2) Night Mooring at Fengqiao

Zhang Ji (Tang Dynasty)

The moon is setting, the crows are crying, the sky is full of frost, and the rivers, maples, and fishing fires are facing melancholy. At Hanshan Temple outside Gusu City, the bell rang for the passenger ship at midnight.

(3) Mooring at Guazhou

Wang Anshi (Song Dynasty)

Between Jingkou and Guazhou, there are only a few mountains between Zhongshan and Guazhou. The spring breeze turns green again on the south bank of the river. When will the bright moon shine on me again?

(4) Reminiscing about my brother-in-law on a moonlit night

Du Fu (Tang Dynasty)

Guarding drums interrupts the pedestrian movement, and there is a sound of wild geese in the autumn. The dew is white tonight, and the moon is bright in my hometown. All my brothers are scattered, and I have no family to ask about life and death. The letter sent was not delivered, but the troops were not suspended.

(5) Stay at Jiande River

Meng Haoran (Tang Dynasty)

Moving the boat to Yanzhu, the guests are worried about the new arrival at dusk. The trees are low in the wild sky, and the clear moon on the river is close to people.

(6) Crossing the Jingmen Gate to say goodbye

Crossing the distance outside the Jingmen Gate, I came to travel from the Kingdom of Chu. The mountains end with the plains, and the river flows into the wilderness. Under the moon, there is a flying mirror, and the clouds form a sea tower. Still feeling pity for the water in my hometown, I send my boat sailing thousands of miles away.

(7) Listen to the flute playing on the fortress

Gao Shi (Tang Dynasty)

The snow is clear and Hu Tian herds his horses, and the moon shines and the Qiang flute guards the tower. May I ask where the plum blossoms fall? The wind blows all over the mountain pass all night.

(8) Moonlight Night

Tonight in Yanzhou, I can only watch the moon in my boudoir. I pity my little children from afar and recall Chang'an without understanding. The fragrant mist and clouds make the servant girl wet, and the clear jade arms are cold. When do I lean on Xuguo, my tears will dry when I shine with my eyes.

(9) Qi Zhongzuo

Cen Shen (Tang Dynasty)

Walking to the west, I want to reach the sky. I leave home and see that the moon is full twice. I don’t know where to stay tonight, the flat sand is vast and there are no people around.

(10) Joining the Army in the Northern Expedition

Li Yi (Tang Dynasty)

After the snow in the Tianshan Mountains and the sea were cold and windy, the flute played "The Road Is Difficult" all over the place. Shi Qishi recruited three hundred thousand people, and looked back at the middle of the month.
