Ran Congxian, formerly known as Ran Chongxian, pen name Ran Yu, villager, Cong Xian, 1962, born in Shizhu, Chongqing, in September. He is a Tujia nationality with a high school education. Member of China Minority Writers Association and Shizhu Writers Association.
He plowed the land, taught books, compiled enterprise newspapers and local chronicles, and worked as a workshop worker, a TV reporter and a government office clerk.
