Don Wei Wu Ying
Alone, grass grows by the stream, and orioles sing on the trees.
The spring tide brought the rain late and urgent, and there was no boat on the wild crossing.
During the prosperous Tang dynasty, the prosperity and grandeur of the prosperous Tang dynasty ceased to exist, the poet lost his freedom and arrogance, and his poetic style lost its grandeur and grandeur. The theme is also romantic and nostalgic. Especially after the "An Shi Rebellion", the social environment was depressed, and the overall style of poetry in this period showed a sad atmosphere.
Wei lived in Dali period, which is different from Wei's poems with bitter and bitter style. It is more charming and elegant. Wei caught up with the source of elegance in the pre-Qin period, and inherited the method of "comparison and prosperity" and the spirit of "harmony among elegance" since the Book of Songs. It inherits the mood of Wang Wei and Meng Haoran in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and the bearing and artistic style of their poems. Wei's poetry is unique, which is different from the mainstream school of poetry "Ten Talents" at that time, and also different from the school that completely worships Gu Zhuo's clumsiness at that time. Wei's poems influenced Bai Juyi's new Yuefu movement and pointed out the direction for Liu Zongyuan's creation. Later generations called his poems "Wei Suzhou Style".
Xixi Chuzhou is a lyric poem with landscape as the theme, which was written by Wei Chuzhou's secretariat. This poem depicts the late spring scenery that Wei saw when crossing Xixi alone. As the poet can see, poor grass, orioles sing loudly, spring tides bring rain, and boating in the wild. This is an elegant and quiet sketch. This exquisite sketch focuses on the grass in the middle. On this sad grassland, there are tall trees, orioles and warblers. This deserted ferry was originally inaccessible, and because of the late spring dusk, the spring rain is falling, the spring tide is getting longer and longer, and it is even more desolate and indifferent, and it is difficult to find a figure. Only one leaf boat goes with the flow.
From this "Grass by the Stream", we seem to be able to read Wei's leisurely, quiet and tranquil mood. It seems that Wei is full of love for life.
Repeatedly chanting, carefully reading, only to find that it makes sense. This is what Wei really wants to express, the anxiety and sadness in his heart. Love grass alone, not deep trees. Even though the warbler sounds euphemistically, you can see the lonely boat, which brings rain in this spring tide. It is busy when you ferry, but it is leisurely here. Look at the current political situation and indulge yourself in Chuzhou. It's not that I, Wei, can live safely, that I'm not pragmatic, but that I'm not in place and can't use it! Can only be a lonely boat, don't let anyone cross the river freely!
