Five limericks - recalling the alma mater and the lost youth

Time flies like an arrow and like a shuttle,

The year passed by in a hurry.

The passage of time is like water but also like a song,

It is like an east wind breaking!

(2)

There are new buildings on campus,

This is not the old homeland in dreams.

There have been many storms in the past twenty years,

I am fortunate to see the old dormitory again.

(3)

The classroom blackboard and desks,

have not been close to each other for many years.

I look at you and you look at me.

We are silent only when we know each other.

(4)

The flowers of the banyan tree bloom and fall.

What do the teachers and students of No. 4 Middle School do?

I am willing to pick thousands of flowers,

But I am afraid that the banyan tree will burst into tears.

(5)

The well water is cool and the stove is hot,

It refreshes the mouth and warms the heart.

We have known each other and stayed together,

There are many unforgettable feelings in a lifetime!

Getting acquainted with the banyan tree and picking flowers, and the passage of time is like water
