Carl Sandberg (1878~ 1967) is an American poet. His biography "abraham lincoln: War Years" 1940 won the Pulitzer Prize for History, and The Complete Collection of Poetry 195 1 won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. Sandberg's poems are full of famous sayings and anecdotes. His Grass is the most touching and unforgettable poem about the First World War.
