Brief introduction of eighteen butterflies

Eighteen Butterflies is a traditional dance form of Han nationality popular in central Zhejiang (mainly in Yongkang, Jinhua). Generally, the whole set of Eighteen Butterflies is played by twenty young women, two of whom are decorated with flowers and eighteen with butterflies. On June 7th, 2008, Eighteen Butterflies was officially listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list of China.
