After Cao Cao defeated Yuan Shao's separatist forces, the remnants of Yuan Shao fled to Wuhuan, received support from Wuhuan, and wanted to make a comeback. In order to eliminate the remaining forces of Yuan Shao, Cao Cao conquered Wuhuan in the twelfth year of Jian'an and rode his horse to the north. Waving his whip, he faced the Jieshi Mountain to the east and wrote a set of famous poems. Among them was the poem "Viewing the Sea": "Landing the Jieshi Mountain to the east, I could view the sea. The water was sluggish, but the mountains and islands stood tall. The trees were thick and the grass was luxuriant. "The autumn wind is bleak and the waves are rising. The journey of the sun and the moon is as if it were out of it. The stars are as bright as if they were out of it. I am so lucky. I sing to sing my ambition." This allusion was quoted in the lyrics of "Langtaosha·Beidaihe". : "Thousands of years have passed since the past, Wei Wu whipped his whip, and there is a legacy of Jieshi in the east."~
